Two ways to participate in the 2021 Spring Pilot of the Spanning Boundaries Training Programme

Spanning Boundaries Training Programme is a FREE 4-month online training programme, organised in two cohorts in 2021-2022. Spanning Boundaries Training Programme is dedicated to providing the best possible learning and networking experience for participants. The online sessions are intended for learning, exchange of knowledge and experience and professional networking. To that end, our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome to participate, speak up, ask questions, and engage in conversation. We invite all those who participate in the Spanning Boundaries Training Programme to help us create safe and positive experiences for everyone.



This Code of Conduct may be revised at any time by UIIN as the project lead and main host and the terms are non-negotiable. Your registration for or attendance at any session indicates your agreement to abide by this policy and its terms.



The Rules


• Don't challenge or attack others in discussion. The discussions are meant to stimulate conversation not to create contention. Let others have their say, just as you may.

• Don't share commercial messages.

• All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal speeches, texts, and other form of materials are strictly prohibited.



Etiquette:

• Use your full name, affiliation, and location (optional) in the platform.

• Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions.

• Do not dominate the conversation. Make sure each participant has enough time to express their opinion and insights.

* PAPs (personal application projects) are central to the Spanning Boundaries Educational Framework, and are required for all participants who wish to receive certification. In the Spring Pilot of the programme, all participants will be required to complete a PAP.
For participants, the total number of hours scheduled in the Spanning Boundaries programme is about 10 hours (including presence during the PAP presentations of other participants). This does not include time required to advance projects outside of scheduled activities.
Each participant will be guided through the process of completing a PAP. Throughout the Programme, each participant will provide details about their PAP, which they will present in the final month of the Programme.
