The ergonomic driving position, spacious and comfortable interior, and raised ride height are some of the reasons why these vehicles are so sought-after nowadays. Additionally, SUV-type cars are also versatile, practical, and livable for everyday use, and many of these are also gifted with 4×4 capabilities for added adventuring off-road. With most brands and manufacturers vying for top honors in presenting the best SUVs of 2023, there’s also something for everyone. The large SUV is still based on Toyota’s legendary Land Cruiser, but gets major updates including upgraded safety and driver-assist technologies, the latest Lexus infotainment system, and executive-level luxury features. The fully redesigned 2023 Honda Pilot brings a more rugged appearance, a new off-road-capable variant, and greater interior versatility. It should have the credentials to take on the best three-row SUVs when it goes on sale at the end of 2022. The most popular style is the Sport FWD, which starts at $40,495 and comes with a 3.5L V6 engine and Front Wheel Drive. This Pilot is estimated to deliver 19 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. The Hyundai Santa Fe shares a platform with the Kia Sorrento, but its more subdued styling and personality seem geared towards a pure value proposition rather than excitement.
